The case of the missing string!

Have you ever walked out into your garden, looked around and noticed the string missing from your tee pee’s?

Someone has been very busy gathering materials for their nest.

We have watched blackbirds untie knots and even a little female fairy wren.

The birds are very sweet and enduring and determined. I really can’t get cross at them for wanting to build the best nest possible for their eggs.

This week one of the jobs on the gardening to do list is to check all the tee pee’s and add another layer of string if it is needed, double, triple knotted if necessary.
