From my journal:

28 February 2022.

Would you like a glimpse into my walk around the garden this morning? Waking up to misty rain was a lovely change. It has been so so dry here, such a contrast to other parts of Australia that are experiencing flooding and day after day of rain. My thoughts are with you.

Do you have days where you gravitate towards certain colours? This morning I kept seeing little calico patterns and the softest of colours, noticing the tiniest of raindrops. My tender heart is looking for these tiny details, focusing on everything I can, gratitude for my peaceful life – when so many others are forced to live in conflict and turmoil.

The reputable new focuses on the current world events and I won’t be re sharing or reposting things on my social media accounts. By not re sharing doesn’t mean that I don’t care, quite the opposite, it also does not mean that I am burying my head in the sand. If for some reason I did feel it necessary to share something to do with current news events I would let you know in this way -The following may be triggering.

It is so so important that we look after each others mental health with the best of intentions.

There is more love in the world then hate. I have created this account and my Instagram account as a place to remind me of the beauty and love in the world, to continue to look for it when things are hard.
