Look at this Orlando Plenty creation, made by Sappho & Ryan. Can you spy the Quinces grown here at Fairy Wren Cottage poached in unpasteurised freshly pressed apple juice?

And it tasted as good as it looks!

It is a dream come true for Michael, Lil and I to be at the Farm Gate Market in Hobart on a Sunday morning and know that the Quinces we have tended in our little orchard have been prepared and served with such love and integrity.

Of course I had to take photo’s! I was a bit like an excited proud mother the day of their child’s graduation parade! And yes there are Fairy Wren Cottage Quinces on that pancake purposely left next to the pot plant to be photographed!

On the plate;

A coconut buckwheat pancake with vanilla bean chia pudding, house made coconut yogurt, seasonal fruit (organic Huon Valley apples & Fairy Wren Cottage quinces), rice malt syrup, toasted seeds, fresh mint & edible flowers.

Say Hi from me and let me know what you order, I’ve started working my way through Orlando Plenty’s menu but may be stuck on the quinces while they are in season!
