An update: I’ll be reopening the Fairy Wren Cottage Etsy Shop soon and my plan is to do it in stages.
This will make it manageable for me and take into consideration Lil’s University work load.

Postcards: First off will be new Postcard collections. Small batches, sent worldwide, you will be able to purchase them from my Etsy Shop and they will be sent out by me via Australia Post.

Prints: It has worried me from the beginning the price point (even though they are priced reasonably and everyone who has bought one has loved the quality, paper and print). You see my goal has always been to share the Fairy Wren Cottage love and for as many people as possible to be able to afford them. It is all about sharing the beauty in the everyday moments. You having a beautiful Fairy Wren Cottage print on your walll and each time you look over at it, well, it is heartwarming and makes you smile. Don’t we all need more of that in our lives!

The soloution.

Changing to downloadable prints:
Selling each print via download keeps the costs even lower for you and I am not stressing constantly about prints arriving in mint condition – because seriously, I was so nervous about that and it is the reason why I stopped using the printer and closed my Etsy Shop until I came up with a solution.
(I had prints arrive here that weren’t in mint condition and the printer didn’t honour their word to replace them. I can’t work with a company who doesn’t have honesty, respect and integrity as part of their core day to day values.)

As you may already know Lil helps me with all the tech work and I need her assistance with listing my downloadable prints. She has some Uni assignments due soon, once her work load has eased she will sort out the tech side of it all and the prints will be available to purchase and download. More affordable and available worldwide without the worry of me sending print’s overseas and them getting damaged in transit, this is also a more environmentally friendly approach which you know I am passionate about.
