Coming across the three Pekin sisters waiting patiently on the garden path for Plum who is head down exploring something in the garden bed.
There is something so calm and understanding between an older flock of hens who have lived together for several years. A turn around the garden takes as long as it does. Enjoying the Autumn sunshine before returning to the henhouse for their late afternoon bowl of grain and greens.
