We make most of our food from scratch.

We are home bakers, home cooks and interested in knowing where our food comes from.

We grow as much fruit and veg as possible, the reason why we have 75+ fruit trees, planted food hedges and tend a large organic, bee friendly garden.

Michael, Lil and I listened to “Food Rules” by Michael Pollan on Audible. It has helped us make better food choices relevant to our family, getting us all on the same page so to speak.

Sharing the food we produce is one way of helping each other eat well. This basket of goodies went to our friends who don’t keep hens or have a large garden anymore.

In return they share produce with us that we don’t grow.

This exchange is based on respect for each other and valuing the effort and time it takes to produce the food.

Sending Light and Love,

Love Michael Pollan’s work. I think sharing /swapping what you do not grow is going to be done often. A lot of folks don’t always see the work it takes to grow your own food.
